The Present research aims to offer a solution to one-dimensional inverse problem using the Homotopy perturbation method (HPM). In the Problem, the values of function are known in one boundary; However, the partial differential equations may be converted into a system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations by means of finite difference method and discretizing the time variable. Therefore, an approximate solution can be found at discrete times if HPM is applied. It will be demonstrated that such HPM application present 3 advantages of rapidity, accuracy and stability.en_US
