dc.description.abstractBelgesel sinemanın bağlı olduğu gerçeklik insana ve mekâna bağlı bir gerçekliktir, bu nedenle insan ile mekân arasındaki ilişki belgeselin temelini oluşturan bir yapıdır. Belgesel sinemada her ne kadar rastlantının ve şansın önemi vurgulansa da, belgesel sinema yönetmeninden ve onun yaratıcı yorumundan ayrı düşünülemez. Türk Belgesel sinemasının önde gelen yönetmenlerinden Suha Arın, belgesellerinde insan-mekân arasındaki ilişkiyi öne çıkaran bir üslubu benimsemiştir. Bu üslup onun sanatına yaratıcı, özgün bir kimlik kazandırmıştır. Ancak Arın’ın bu yönü yeterince irdelenmemiştir. Yapılan çalışmada belgesel sinemada insan ile mekân arasındaki ilişki, Suha Arın belgeselleri üzerinden değerlendirilmiştir. “Toplumsal gerçeklerin film aracılığıyla izleyicilere aktarılmasında”1 ve kültürel bellek oluşumunda önemli bir konum üstlenen belgesel sinemanın ülkemizdeki gelişiminde Suha Arın’ın yadsınamayacak derecede önemli katkısı vardır. Arın, belgesellerinde özellikle Anadolu’yu mekân olarak ele alırken; bu makro mekânı çoğunlukla mikro mekânlar aracılığıyla anlatmış, insanların bu mekânlarla olan ilişkilerine yer vermiş, mekânın insanla var olduğu görüşünü desteklemiştir. en_US
dc.description.abstractThe reality that documentary film is bounded with, is the reality bounded with human and space. That’s why, the relationship between human and space is a structure that constitutes the base of documentary. Although, the coincidence and luck in documentary film is being emphasized; documentary film can not be thought without its director and his/her creative treatment. Suha Arın who is one of leading documentary directors in Turkey, has adopted a style that foreground the relatioship between human and space. This style has brought his art a creative and authentic identity. But unfortunately this side of Arın hasn’t been examined enough. In this thesis, relationship between human and space in documentary film has been analysed over the documentaries of Suha Arın. Suha Arın has undeniable contribution on the development of documentary film, which has a leading role on the development of cultural memory, in Turkey. Arın has dealed with Anatolia as “space” in his documentaries. Anatolia has been his macro-space and he has mentioned it by the intervention of micro-spaces and human’s relationships with these spaces. By this way he has supported the opinion that, ‘space exists with human’ and space ‘is the experiential fact of human existence’.en_US
