Özet

lt is widely acknowledged that knowledge society symbolizes the creation, implementation, and the application of a solid platform that enhances social development. Hence, libraries tend to highIight the source of information and cultural advancement through which the learning process can take place. The aim ot this study was to evaluate the role of libraries in enhancing EFL students' educational background. and the extent to which knowledge society can improve their quality education in harmony with our current era. ln order to conduct this piece ol research, the investigator has opted for a structured interview which was addressed to Forty students at English Department in Oran2 University, with the aim ot gathering concrete data and necessary information, The main findings revealed that both traditional and electronic libraries mirror a basic starting point towards sharing and exchanging knowledge, in addition to foslering the students' educational and cultural proticiency. Moreover, knowledge society serves the students constructively through providing quality education and effective endeavor.
