Özet
Araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de ters yüz edilmiş öğrenme ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin tematik, metodolojik ve istatistiksel çözümleme teknikleri açısından analizi yoluyla bir durum değerlendirmesi yapmak ve bu konuda gelecekte yapılacak olan akademik çalışmalara ışık tutmaktır. Çalışma 2014-2020 yılları arasında Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu Yayın ve Dokümantasyon Daire Başkanlığı veri tabanında flipped learning, ters yüz öğrenme, dönüştürülmüş öğrenme, blended learning, ters yüz sınıf, ters yüz edilmiş öğrenme olan tezlerle sınırlıdır. Örneklem seçimine gidilmemiştir. Evrenin tamamı 127 tezden oluşmaktadır. 126 adet teze ulaşılmış sadece 1 adet teze kısıtlı olduğu için ulaşılamamıştır. Araştırmada, tarama modeli benimsenmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama yöntemi olarak belgesel tarama (doküman analizi) kullanılmış olup elde edilen bilgiler betimsel analize tabi tutularak, grupların sayısal değerleri basit betimsel istatistiklerle analiz edilmiştir. Ters yüz öğrenme alanında Türkiye'de 2014-2020 yılları arasında yapılmış olan 126 tezin analizi yapılmıştır. Tezlerin analizi; "Akademik Yayın Değerlendirme Formu" kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tezlere göre revize edilen "Akademik Yayın Değerlendirme Formu" ise; tezin adı, yayınlandığı yıl, tezin türü, tezin hangi üniversitede yapıldığı, tema, araştırma yöntemi, araştırma modeli, örneklem grupları, örneklem büyüklükleri, veri toplama araçları, istatistiki teknik ve veri analizi tekniklerinden oluşmaktadır. Yapılan araştırma sonucuna göre; ters yüz öğrenme alanında yapılmış en fazla tez yüksek lisans tezi olduğu görülmüştür. İncelenen tezlerde yine en fazla yayının 2019 yılında yayımlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Tezleri temalarına göre değerlendirdiğimizde en fazla İngilizce öğretimi, akademik başarı ve motivasyon, matematik öğretimi, fen öğretimi ve sosyal bilgiler öğretimi gibi disiplinlerde yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma yöntemlerine göre en fazla karma yöntem kullanılmış olup, bunu nicel ve nitel araştırma takip etmiştir. Araştırma modellerine göre en fazla deneysel model ve görüşme modelinin beraber kullanıldığı tezler dikkat çekmiştir. Örneklem gruplarına bakıldığında en fazla öğretmen adayları üzerinde çalışıldığı, öğretmen ve de veliler ile ilgili çalışmaların yok denecek kadar az olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Örneklem büyüklüğüne bakıldığında yoğunlaşmanın 1-50 kişi arasında olduğu görülmektedir. Veri toplama araçlarına bakıldığında en fazla ölçek ve görüşme kullanıldığı en az ise doküman ve görüşme olduğu tespit edilmiştir. İstatistiki tekniklere göre bakıldığında parametrik tekniklerin en fazla kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Araştırma sonunda Türkiye’de ve yurtdışında ters yüz öğrenme ile yapılan çalışmaların karşılaştırılarak incelenmesi ve artırılması önerilmektedir. Çalışmaların sadece karma yöntem çalışmaları ile sınırlı kalmaması, nicel ve nitel çalışmalara da ağırlık verilebileceği ve doktora düzeyinde çalışmaların sayısının arttırılabileceği ile ilgili önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The purpose of the study is to make a situation assessment by analyzing the graduate theses and dissertations about flipped learning in terms of thematic, methodological and statistical analysis techniques and to shed light on future academic studies on this subject. The study is limited to theses that are flipped learning, reverse learning, transformed learning, blended learning, and inverted classroom in the database of the Higher Education Council Publication and Documentation Department between 2014- 2020. Sample selection was not made. The whole universe consists of 127 theses. 126 theses were reached and could not be reached because only 1 thesis was limited. In the research, Scanning Model has been adopted. Documentary scanning (document analysis) was used as the data collection method in the study, and the obtained information was subjected to descriptive analysis and the numerical values of the groups were analyzed with simple descriptive statistics. 126 theses in the field of flipped learning, which were made in Turkey between 2014-2020, were analyzed. Analysis of theses; It was carried out using the "Academic Publication Evaluation Form". On the other hand, "Academic Publication Evaluation Form" revised according to theses; It consists of the title of the thesis, the year it was published, the type of the thesis, the university where the thesis was conducted, the theme, research method, research model, sample groups, sample sizes, data collection tools, statistical technique and data analysis techniques. According to the results of the research; It has been observed that the most theses in the field of flipped learning are master theses. In the theses examined, it was determined that the highest number of publications were published in 2019. When we evaluated the theses according to their themes, it was found that they were mostly done in disciplines such as English teaching, academic achievement and motivation, mathematics teaching, science teaching and social studies teaching. According to research methods, mixed method was used the most, followed by quantitative and qualitative research. According to the research models, the theses in which the experimental model and the interview model were used together attracted the most attention. When the sample groups are examined, it has been determined that there are almost no studies on teacher candidates and parents. When the sample size is examined, it is seen that the concentration is between 1-50 people. Considering the data collection tools, it was determined that the most scale and interview were used, and the least document and interview were used. When analyzed according to statistical techniques, it is seen that parametric techniques are used the most. At the end of the research, it is recommended to compare and increase the studies conducted with flipped learning in Turkey and foreign countries. Suggestions have been made that the studies are not limited to mixed method studies, quantitative and qualitative studies can also be focused on, and the number of studies at doctoral level can be increased.
