dc.description.abstractBu araştırmanın amacı tüm dünya ile birlikte Türkiye’de de etkisini sürdüren Covid-19 pandemisi döneminde uygulanan uzaktan eğitime yönelik köy okulu yöneticilerinin deneyimlerini incelemektir. Nitel araştırma yaklaşımın benimsendiği bu çalışmada, fenomonoloji deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz döneminde Tokat ili köylerinde bulunan ilkokul ve ortaokullarda görev yapan 17 okul yöneticisinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan “görüşme formu” yardımıyla katılımcılar ile yapılan uzaktan görüntülü görüşme yoluyla toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler “içerik analizi tekniği” ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, Covid-19 pandemi sürecinde uzaktan eğitimde en çok kullanılan araçların EBA, Zoom ve WhatsApp uygulamalarının olduğunu göstermiştir. Katılımcılara göre pandemi döneminde uzaktan eğitimde en fazla karşılaşılan sorunlar; öğrencilerin derslere düşük katılımı, öğrencilerin motivasyonlarının düşüklüğü, telefon, tablet bilgisayar sayısının ve internet imkânının yetersizliği, etkin olmayan ölçme ve değerlendirme, internet erişim altyapısındaki yetersizlik ve velilerin ilgisizliği olmuştur. Katılımcılar, teknolojik yeterlik, üst yönetim ve uzaktan eğitimin uygulanması ile ilgili çeşitli öneriler getirmiştir. Bunlar arasında öğrencilere internet erişimi olan tablet bilgisayar dağıtılması ve internet altyapısının iyileştirilmesi gibi öneriler öne çıkmaktadır.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this research is to examine the experiences of village school administrators regarding distance education applied during the Covid-19 pandemic, which continues its impact in Turkey as well as the whole world. In this study, in which a qualitative research approach was adopted, the phenomenology design was used. Participants of the study consists of 17 school administrators working in primary and secondary schools in the villages of Tokat province in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The data of the research were collected by remote video interview with the participants with the help of the "interview form" created by the researcher. The obtained data were analyzed with the “content analysis technique”. According to the research results, the most used tools for distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic period are EBA, Zoom, and WhatsApp. According to village school administrators, the most encountered problems in distance education during the pandemic period; low participation of students into the classes, low motivation of students, insufficient count number of smart phones, tablet computers, computers and /insufficiency of internet access facilities, ineffective measurement/evaluation, inadequacy of internet access infrastructure and indifference of parents. Village school administrators have made various suggestions regarding technological competence, senior management and the implementation of distance education in relation to distance education. Among these suggestions, distribution of tablets with internet access to students and improvement of internet infrastructure come to the fore.en_US
