Özet
A mesoscale model developed at the ICM&MG SB RAS is used to simulate the atmospheric dynamics and the impurity transport in the regions with an inhomogeneous relief of the Earth’s surface. The basic equations of the model are three equations of motion for finding three components of the velocity vector; the equations of heat and moisture transfer with allowance for phase transitions; and the continuity equation. Convective-diffusion equations are used to model the processes of pollutants dispersion. Some parametrizations participate in the models. They describe the interaction of the atmosphere with the Earth’s surface and allow us to calculate the turbulence parameters as well as to realize the mechanisms of moisture phase transitions in the atmosphere. With the help of parametrizations, the temperature of the underlying surface is also calculated. The system of model equations is supplemented by the corresponding initial and boundary conditions. A case study is devoted to simulating the features of the mesoclimate formation of the Krasnoyarsk city and assessing the influence of various meteorological situations on the quality of the city atmosphere. The aim of the research is to study the features of the mesoclimate formation in winter, characterized by the presence of temperature inversions. This feature affects the spread of pollutants from various sources located in the city. To detail the scenario studies, the nested domains are used.
