dc.description.abstractAmaç: Çalışma nöroloji ve nöroşirürji kliniklerinde yatan hastaların düşme riski düzeyini ve alınan önlemleri belirlemek amacı ile tanımlayıcı olarak planlandı. Yöntem: Çalışmanın evrenini bir devlet hastanesinin nöroşirürji ve nöroloji kliniklerine yatan hastalar, örneklemi ise çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 110 hasta oluşturdu. Veriler, hastaların bireysel demografik özelliklerini içeren anket formu ve Hendrich II Düşme Riski Modelinden yararlanılarak toplandı ve tanımlayıcı istatistiksel yöntemler ile değerlendirildi. Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hastaların %48.2’si 61-80 yaş grubunda, %55.5’i erkek idi. %83.6’sı intrakranial patoloji tanısı ile hastaneye yatırılmıştı. Hastaların %55.5’sinin düşme riski yüksekti. İntrakranial tanı ( p<0.001) ve düşme hikayesi olan hastalarda (p<0.05) düşme riskinin yüksek olması anlamlı bulundu. Düşme riski yüksek olan hastaları korumak amacı ile sürekli refakatçi bulundurma (%74.5) ve yatak kenarlığını yükseltme (%60) gibi önlemlerin alındığı görüldü. Sonuç: Nöroloji ve nöroşirürji kliniklerinde yatan hastaların düşme riskinin yüksek olduğu, alınan hemşirelik önlemlerinin ise yetersiz kaldığı belirlendi.en_US
dc.description.abstractObjectives: This study was carried out to the determination of patients’ fall risk and taken preventive measures in neurology and neurosurgery clinics. Methods: This descriptive study was carried out with 110 patients, who agreed to participate in the study, who hospitalized in neurology and neurosurgery clinics of a state hospital. Data were collected using the “Questionnaire Form” which included demographical characteristics of patients and ‘‘Hendrich II Fall Risk Model’’. The data obtained were assessed by SPSS Program, and analyzed using the descriptive statistical tests. Results: 48.2% of the patients who participated in to the study were between 61-80 years old and 55.5% was male. 83.6% of them was hospitalized because of diagnosed intracranial pathology. 55.5% of the patients had had high falling risk. The high falling risk was found significant both patients with diagnosed intracranial ( p<0.001) and patients who have falling story (p<0.05). It was found that 74.5% of them have their hospital attendant and 60% side rail of bed was elevated for preventation of the patient who have high fall risk Conclusion: It was determined that patients had high falling risk in neurology and neurosurgery clinics, but taken preventive measures were inadequate.en_US
