dc.description.abstractThe paper explores the role of social media in the coverage of the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon. This paper sought to investigate how social media activists have used the platform as a vantage point to combat a political orientation that is dangerous to freedom of speech. Cameroon is having a complex historical background that dates as far back as November 1884 since when Cameroon was recognized as a German territory during the Berlin Conference. dc.description.abstractBu çalışma, Kamerun'daki Anglofon krizi kapsamında sosyal medyanın rolünü incelemektedir. Çalışmada, sosyal medya aktivistlerinin ifade özgürlüğü için tehlikeli olan siyasi bir yönelimle mücadele için bir avantaj olarak sosyal medya platforlarını nasıl kullandıklarını araştırılmaktadır. Kamerun, Kasım 1884'te Berlin Konferansı sırasında Alman toprağı olarak tanınmaya başlandığından beri karmaşık bir geçmişe sahiptir.
