dc.description.abstractToplumsal normları, olguları ve değişimleri gözlemlemenin, yorumlamanın ve bunların sonucunda çıkarsama yapmanın çeşitli yol ve yöntemleri vardır. Edebiyat sosyolojisi de edebiyat eserlerinden yola çıkarak, toplumsal alandaki değişimleri, durumları tespit etmeyi amaçlayan genç bir disiplin dalıdır. Edebiyat Sosyolojisi Bağlamında Gözetim Toplumu: İsa’nın Güncesi ve Yalnızlar İçin Çok Özel Bir Hizmet Romanları adlı çalışma, Melih Cevdet Anday ve Murat Gülsoy’un eserlerinden yola çıkarak, toplumsal alandaki tahakküm ve gözetim olgusunu incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Tahakküm ve gözetim kavramları; Jeremy Bentham’ın panoptikon çalışmasından yola çıkılarak, Foucault, Lyon ve Furedi gibi kuramcılar yardımıyla açıklanmıştır. Çalışma, edebiyat sosyolojisinin tarihsel olarak ilerleyişini, bu alana katkı veren önemli kuramcıları ve akımları özetlemektedir. Özellikle Marksist eleştiri kuramı detaylı bir şekilde incelenmiş, Fisher’ın edebiyat sosyolojisi yaklaşımı referans alınmıştır. Gözetim kavramı, yazının icadından modern zamana kadar incelenmiş ve geçirdiği dönüşümler, teknolojinin ne gibi katkılar sunduğu incelenmiştir. İktidar kavramının dönemler içerisinde ne gibi gözetim teknikleri geliştirdiği, tahakkümü nasıl kurduğu detaylı biçimde anlatılmıştır. Kavramsal çerçeve ortaya konulduktan sonra, her iki yazarın hayatına ve dönemin toplumsal yapısı ve siyasi iklimine kısaca değinilmiş, eserlerin tahakküm ve gözetim kavramları bağlamında incelenmesine geçilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThere are various ways and methods of observing and interpreting social norms, facts and changes and in consequence of these making an inference. Sociology of literature is a young discipline that aims to identify the changes and the facts in the social field on the basis of literary works. Surveillance Society In the Context of Sociology of Literature: Journal of Jesus And A Very Special Service For The Solitery Ones aims to analyze the fact of domination and surveillance in the social field starting from the works of Melih Cevdet Anday and Murat Gülsoy. The concept of domination and surveillance is explained starting from the work of penopticon of Jeremy Bentham, with the help of the theoreticians like Foucault, Lyon and Furedi. This study summarizes the historical development of sociology of literature and major theoreticians and movements that have been contributing to this field. Especieally, the theory of Marxist criticism has been examined in detail, and Fisher's approach to sociology of literature has been taken as a reference. The concept of surveillance from the invention of writing to the modenrn times has been examined, the transformations that it has undergone, and the contributions of technology has been studied. It is explained in detail what kinds of surveillance techniques the power developed, and how it dominated. After the conceptual framework is presented, both of the writers' lives and social structure and political climate of the period are birefly mentioned, and then the analysing the works in the context of the concept of domination and surveillance is started.en_US
