Abstract
This thesis explores the differences, uses and the purpose of light in architecture. Architecture is a matter of space, which is directly related to how the light interacts with the area. Therefore. what we experience and what we see are completely effected by the environment around us. The topic covers two main sources of light, which are natural and artificial light. The purpose of this study is to understand how natural and artificial light differentiates in their style in order to create the desired environment through certain stages of interior lighting. ln addition it also presents some basic design principles that are used and followed by interior designers and architects to create a successful lighting design...
