Abstract
Eco-design is a field in fulI development. often seen as a transitıonal trend and not as a necessity for seeking new constructive solutions which could lead to a reduction of material and energy consumption in order to establish a balanced relationship with natural resources and nature itself. Taking into account the principles ot ecologic design, the present paper addresses the revitalisation process of a used means of public conveyance beginning with existing mechanic elements, but with a new body according lo current aesthetics norms. Design uses consciously some of the main constructive elements, reinventing a new personalised concept, a concept adapted to urban aesthetics: and all this is achieved by maintaining certain landmarks and technologies in order to have a maximum economic efficiency in full accordance with the envıronmental standards in force...
