Özet
Bu çalışmada, güvenlik güçleri ve PKK arasındaki çatışmalar sırasında, köy korucuları, güvenlik güçleri veya PKK baskısı nedeniyle zorunlu göçe maruz kalan, bu nedenle de Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesi'nden göç ederek, İstanbul'un Küçükçekmece ilçesi Kanarya mahallesine yerleşen kadınların; zorunlu göç deneyimleri, algıları, göçün hayatları üzerindeki etkileri, ‘ulus devlet bağlamında kimlik’, ‘ulus devlette kadın’ ve ‘Türkiye’de kadın’ bağlamında ele alınarak araştırılmıştır. Yirmi yıllık yerinden edilme deneyimi şüphesiz yerinden edilen nüfus kadar yerleşik nüfusun algılarını, şehirlerin sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel yapısını farklılaştırmış, değiştirilmiş ve dönüştürülmüştür. Toplumsal yaşamda yerinden edilen kadın, hem etnik kimliğinden hem de kadın kimliğinden dolayı çift yönlü bir baskı ve ezilmişliğe maruz kalmıştır. Bu nedenle kadınların bu süreçte yaşadıkları, algıları ve hissettiklerinin ortaya konulmasının önemli olduğu düşünülmektedir.
Within this study I have compiled a report on the feelings, perceptions and experiences of women who have faced migration from the Kurdish east/south-east of Turkey to the west of the country. I based my study around women who moved to the Kanarya neighbourhood in Istanbul’s Kucukcekmece due to conflict between the Security Forces, Village Guards and the PKK and those who faced forced evacuation from the villages due to the oppression of these groups. The topic of this study was investigated taking into consideration the results of ‘exile’, ‘forced evacuation, Identity in the Nation State, Women in Nation States and Women in Turkey’ in conjunction with the displacement of people as figures from Non-Governmental Organisations have suggested. Without doubt, the experiences within the twenty year period around migration has affected and changed the socioeconomic and cultural fabric of the settled population of these areas as much as it has affected and changed the already settled. I found it significant to reflect on the perceptions and feelings of women who have had to face the loss of their ethnic identity as well as their role as a female consequently facing oppression.
