Özet
In this talk, we present some fixed point theorems for Chatterjea type mappings on metric space. First, we consider the Chatterjea type contractiveness of a self mapping on compact metric space and hence we give an Edelstain type fixed point theorem. Then we obtain a fixed point result for an involution of such type mappings with conractive factor K < 1. Finally, by taking into account approximation sequences we give another fixed point theorem.
