dc.description.abstractThe Republic of Croatia is one of the Eu countries who is the transit route of migrants caused by the crisis and the war in Syria. One of the current challenges of all countries is how to provide appropriate care for migrants in accordance to major international instruments of human rights. EU documents that are based on international and regional legal obligations which were also signed by Republic of Croatia. ln the period from August 2015 to February 2016 according to the official information through Croatia passed 603,711 migrants from Syria. Afghanistan and Pakistan. Maximum income of migrants daily, mostly from Serbia in the center in Opatovac reaches the number of 2.963. The average retention of migrants in the centers is maximum 3 days, after which an organized bus or train drives to Hungary and Slovenia. ln the same time organized health protection in primary health care is carried out and on its model the organization of the work in the triage needs is based, especially for children, pregnant women and the elderly. The provision of immediate medical aid is based, providing transport of the heavier patients in the nearest health care communities and institutions, The aim of our research is to show the structure of health care in centers in Opatovac and Slavonski Brod (Brod-Posavina County) which are organized on camp modelings to provide a review of the nurses work in teams who provide health care to migrants that come in above mentioned camps. Globally know phrase: 'The doctor treats the disease. nurse the patient" (Gilmartin, 2011.) in crisis situations such as the wave of refugees significantly gains the importance. Problems that migrants come with mostly require heath care and the role of nurses in teams have extraordinary meaning.en_US
