dc.description.abstractBu araştırmada İstanbul’da bir bakım merkezinde kalan psikoz hastalarıyla psikososyal destek grup çalışması yapılmış, 10 hafta boyunca 50 dakika süren toplantılardan oluşan çalışmanın sonuçları aktarılmıştır. Nitel yöntemle yapılan araştırmanın sonuçları; grup çalışması esnasındaki ifadeler ve grup çalışması sonrasında yapılan yarı-yapılandırılmış bireysel görüşmelerden elde edilen bulguların tematik ve fenomenolojik analizi sonucunda ortaya konulmuştur. Çalışmada kurum bakımına dair hastaların deneyimlerine, duygularına ve düşüncelerine ulaşılmış ayrıca psikososyal destek grup çalışmasının destekleyici ve terapötik yönü katılımcılarda izlenmiştir. Çalışma, hizmeti alanlar açısından hizmetin değerlendirilmesini, ihtiyaçların belirlenmesini ve böylece insancıl hizmetin nasıl olması gerektiği ile ilgili bilgilerin psikoz tanılı hastaların gözünden aktarılmasını sağlamıştır. Ayrıca bu araştırma, Türkiye’de bir bakım merkezinde psikoz hastalarıyla gerçekleştirilen psikososyal bir müdahale olarak destek grup çalışmasının etkinliğini ortaya koyan yerel literatürde yazarın ulaşabildiği ilk araştırma olmuştur. Araştırmanın sonucunda kurum hizmetine dair tutsak olma durumu, kurtulma arzusu ifade edilmiş ve bakım merkezinde iyileşme tartışılmıştır. Grup ortamı katılımcılar tarafından dertlerini anlatabildikleri, dinlenildiklerini ve sevildiklerini hissettikleri, güncel konular hakkında konuşabildikleri, özgüven duydukları, öfkelerini yatıştırdıkları terapötik ve destekleyici bir alan olarak tarif edilmiştir.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this research, psychosocial support group work was conducted with psychotic patients in nursing center in Istanbul and the results of the psychosocial group work which were carried out once a week for 10 weeks as 50 minutes long sessions were revealed. The statements and expressions in group work and the semi-structured individual interviews were used for thematic and phenomenological analysis. Qualitative research techniques were used to explore experiences, emotions and thoughts of the patients. Besides, supportive and therapeutic effects of psychosocial support group work were examined. Research provided the evaluation of the nursing service from the patients’ perspective, specifying the needs of the patients, and specifying the necessary improvements for a more humanistic service in the nursing center. Furthermore, this research is the first one that showed the effectiveness of group work as a psychosocial intervention in a nursing home with psychotic patients in Turkey. Being confined to the nursing center, desire to emancipation and recovery/ healing in the nursing center were discussed at the end of the research The group sessions were described by the patients as a therapeutic and supportive place in which they could talk about their problems, that they felt being heard and being loved, that they could talk about current news, that they felt self-confident, and that they could calm down their anger.en_US
