In the development of the underlying theories in statistical methods, it has been face to face with a optimization problem. For example, for the aim of regression problem estimates the ? parameters that makes minimum the objective function according as structure of functions, is a optimization problem. Least Squares Method and Minimizing Mean Absolute Deviations (MINMAD) are at most using approaches in this problem. Although it has long been popular to utilize the Least Squares estimation procedure for fitting the linear regression model to observed data, with the development of Mathematical Programming, solving the MINMAD regression problem with Simplex Method has been a robust alternative to Least Squares Method (LS). In this study solving the MINMAD regression problem with Simplex Method has been given.en_US
