dc.description.abstractBu tezin amacı Türkiye?de devletin yapısını ve devletteki dönüşümü anlamaktır. Bu kapsamda, üst bürokratlar, memurlar, özel girişimciler, ev içi ücretsiz emekçiler, işçiler ve emeklilerden oluşan kadın ve erkek gruplarına devlet hakkında sorular yöneltilmiştir. Sözkonusu sorular katılımcılara, Devlet, Devlet-Vatandaş İlişkisi, Devlet Hakkındaki Deyişler, Devlet Egemenliği, Devlet ve Şiddet, Devlet ve Sınıflar ana başlıkları altında yöneltilmiştir. Bu sorularla amaçlanan vatandaşın ve devleti temsil eden bürokratların devlet algısındaki olası değişimleri görmektir. Çalışmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, hem devlet temsilcileri, hem de vatandaşlar nezdinde devlet algısı hem değişime uğramakta hem de aynı kalmaktadır. Katılımcılar bir yandan devlet şiddetine yönelik itirazlarını dile getirirken, bir yandan da güvenlik kaygıları, sosyal devlet beklentileri gibi nedenlerle devlete yüksek oranda güvendiğini söylemektedir. Katılımcılar aynı zamanda devlete yardımsever ve eşitlikçi bir rol biçmektedirler. Sonuç itibariyle araştırma göstermektedir ki, Türkiye?de hala toplumun devleti değil, devletin toplumu anlayışı hüküm sürmektedir.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe aim of this thesis is to understand the structure of the state and the transformation in the state in Turkey. In this context, questions about state were asked to men and women groups including senior bureaucrats, civil servants, private entrepreneurs, free domestic workers such as housewife?s, workers and retirees. These questions were asked to the participants under the main headings of State, State-Citizen Relationship, State Statements, State Sovereignty, State and Violence, State and Classes. The purpose of these questions is to see possible changes in the perception of citizen and bureaucrats representing the state. According to findings obtained from the research, the perception of the state both remains the same and changes with both state representatives and citizens alike. On the one hand, participants expressed their objections to state violence; on the other hand, they said that they relied on state for reasons such as security concerns and social state expectations. Participants also give the state a benevolent and egalitarian role. As a result, research shows that, it is still not a state of society in Turkey, the state?s understanding of community prevails.en_US
