dc.description.abstractVar olmalarından bu yana sürekli etkileşim halinde bulunan matematik ve bilim, insanın yüzyıllardır gelişimini sürdürmekte olan düşünsel etkinlik alanlarındandır. Her ikisinin de kendine özgü bir kavramsal çerçevesi, yöntem anlayışı ve bir araştırma alanı bulunmaktadır. Matematik ve bilim arasında oldukça sıkı bir ilişki bulunmasına karşın bu ilişki, matematiğin bilimdeki işlevsel rolü ve uygulamalarının yeterince aydınlatılmadığı anlaşılmaktadır. Bilim felsefesinin duyarsız kalamayıp soruşturma nesnesi edindiği bu konuların aydınlığa kavuşturulmasının ise büyük bir öneme sahip olduğu açıktır.en_US
dc.description.abstractMathematics and science, which have been interacting with each other throughout their existence, are ones of human intellectual activities that have been developing for centuries. Both of them have a specific conceptional framework, an account of method, and a research field. Although there is a very tight relationship between mathematics and science, it has been understood that this relationship, functional role and applications of mathematics in science are not illuminated enough. It’s clear that it is highly important to clarify these issues where philosophy of science can’t remain insensitive and become of an object of inquiry.en_US
