dc.description.abstractBu çalışmada eğitim hakkı açısından ezberci eğitim ele alınmaktadır. Tür olarak sadece insana ait olanaklar, insanın değerini oluşturur. İnsan hakları, bu olanakları gerçekleştirme istemlerinden doğar. İnsanın biyopsişik varlık bütününde bulunan olanakların açığa çıkarılarak gerçekleştirilmesi ve geliştirilmesi, onun eğiten ve eğitilen bir varlık olma olanağıyla ilgilidir. Eğitimde insana nasıl bakıldığı önemlidir. Eğitim sistemlerinin temeline konan insan görüşü, eğitim içeriklerini, yöntemlerini ve uygulamalarını belirler. Ezberci eğitimde kişilere birtakım değer yargılarından, önyargılardan, koşullanmalardan, ideolojik veya politik etkenlerden yola çıkılarak ezbere değerlendirme yapması öğretilir. Böyle bir eğitim anlayışıyla yetişen kişiler, doğru değerlendirme yapamaz ve ezbere değerlendirmelerle değer harcanmalarına neden olabilir. Ezberci eğitim, eğitim hakkını koruyamaz. Üç bölümden oluşan bu çalışmanın birinci bölümünde felsefî antropolojinin bilgileri ışığında, insanın özellikleri ve onun eğitilebilir bir varlık olması üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölümde eğitim, bir insan hakkı olarak ele alınmış ve eğitime belli başlı yaklaşımlar etkilerinin görüldüğü dört ülke üzerinden anlatılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümdeyse ezberci eğitimin nasıl bir eğitim olduğu, nedenleri ve bazı sonuçları Türk eğitim sisteminden örneklerle açıklanmıştır.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this study, rote-based education is discussed in terms of the right to education. Only the potentialities of the human being as a species constitute the value of the human being. Human rights arise from the will to actualize these potentialities. Revealing, actualizing and developing these potentialities in the human being as a biopsychic being, is related to its being an educating and educated being. In education, the way of looking at the human being has a special significance. This way of looking underlying educational systems determines the content, as well as the methods and practices of these systems. In rote-based education individuals are taught to make evaluations based on prevailing value judgements, prejudices, conditionings, and ideological or political factors. Individuals educated with such a conception of education are not able to make right evaluations and thus may cause waste of value due to rote-based evaluations. Rote-based education cannot protect the right to education. The first part of this study, which consists of three parts, deals with the characteristics of the human being ? including its being an educating and educated being ? in the light of the knowledge of philosophical anthropology. In the second part, education is examined as a human right and certain approaches to education are explained on the base of the systems of four countries where their effects are seen. In the third part, the specificity of rote-based education, its causes and some of its consequences are dealt with on the base of examples from the Turkish educational system.en_US
