Özet
Bu tez çalışmasının temel amacı, Tu?rkiye Cumhuriyeti'nin eğitim alanındaki bu?yu?k eksiklerinden birisi olan illu?strasyon kullanımı konusundaki noksanlıkların belirtilmesidir. Devlet kitaplarında kaynağı ve sanatçısı verilmeden kullanılan yu?zlerce eser bulunmaktadır. Bu eserler ise çoğu zaman anlatılan konular ile örtu?şmemekte ve metni tasvir etmemektedir. Bu yaklaşım ise öğrencilerin devlet eliyle verilen bilgiyi sorgulamasına ve motivasyonunun du?şmesine sebebiyet verir. Eğitime önem veren gelişmiş devletler ise yeni nesilleri bilgilendirmek amacı ile yayımlanan ve bilimsel nitelik taşıyan bu kitaplarda illu?strasyon kullanımı ve kitap tasarımı konusunda bu?yu?k hassasiyete sahiptir. Bilimsel illu?strasyon, kitap resimlemesi, tarihi illu?strasyon vb. konularda eğitim alan sanatçıların gene resmedilecek konuda bilge ve uzman kişilerin yönlendirmeleri ile hazırladıkları illu?strasyonlar, hem sanatsal çekiciliğe hemde bilimsel tutarlılığa sahip olmakla beraber aynı zamanda resmedilen metinlede örtu?şmektedir. Bu ise okuyucunun yalnızca illu?strasyonu inceleyerek sayfalarca şey öğrenebilmesini sağlamak ile beraber bu çizimleri kullanan yayınların kalitesinide oldukça arttırmaktadır. Tez çalışması, illu?strasyon sanatının kökeni, gelişimi ve işlevini inceledikten sonra gu?nu?mu?zde ku?resel anlamda neredeyse tu?m du?nyaya ulaşan başarılı örneklerin bu başarıyı nasıl elde ettiklerini sorgulamaktadır. Tu?rkiye'de illu?strasyonun mevcut durumuna örnek teşkil olabilecek 2016-2017 döneminde liselerde okutulan, 11. Sınıf Tarih kitabı bu örnekler ve Fransa'da devlet okullarında okutulmakta olan 6. sınıf tarih-coğrafya kitabı ile mukayese edilip bu alanın gelişmesi için yapılması gerekenler belirtilmiştir.
The main aim of this thesis is to point out the deficiencies in the use of illustration, which is one of the major shortcomings of the Republic of Turkey in education. There are hundreds of artworks and illustrations in state books that are used without being given the source and the artist. These works often do not overlap with the topics described and do not depict the text. This approach causes the students to question the information given by the state and decrease the motivation. Developed states that have importance in education have great sensitivity in the use of illustrations and book design in these books which are published with the aim of informing new generations and have scientific quality. Scientific illustration, book illustration, historical illustrations and so on. The illustrations prepared by the wise and expert directors of the artists who have studied in the topics overlap with the text depicted at the same time with the artistic attraction as well as the scientific consistency. This increases the quality of the publications that use these drawings, as well as enabling the reader to learn a lot of information by examining the illustration only. After studying the origin, development and function of the art of illustration, the thesis study questions how peaceful examples that have reached almost the whole world in the global sense today have achieved this peace. The 11th Class History Book, which may be an example for the current situation of illustration in Turkey, has been mentioned in comparison with the 6th grade history-geography book which was taught in public schools in France and the necessary things to be done in order to develop this field.
