Özet
Modernity does not manage to overcome some conflicts; furthermore it is resulted in many new conflicts day by day. Especially, the epistemological gap between subject and object, Self and the Other, state individual and society has not been justified/clarified yet. This incompleteness of modernism after two World Wars, NATO, UN and European Union still is obvious and unfortunately seems as if it sustains to be a challenging issue. Ulrich Beck's definition on post-modernism implies the inevitability of self-referential interpretation of modernism. If we follow the same path, it is dear that modernism will never come to an end since it reproduces itself in concepts, through relations and by acts. In order to understand the paradoxical considerations of modernity and its alternatives we should complete all discussion on Kantian political philosophy. Kant's concept of "universal hospitality" is a challenging notion on the eve of neo-Global conflicts against perpetual peace. The main conditions we currently live in can be described as the third dimension of Globalism. Neo-Globalism in its third stage is not just a sum of economical policies; it is much more a cultural and political manner of self-evaluation process for the "others." The idea of peace necessarily requires tolerance and trust on civilization ideals. The maxims of neo-Global democracy are underdetermined by the classical universalism. The tension between universalism and particularism should be demonished by reconsidering Kant's ideal of citizen. The citizens of Globe are not the same individuals that Kant had already defined. As Beck told about crisis, our humanity is a summary of crisis management and perpetual peace is just an illusion between different sides of universalist point of views. Here, my main aim is to illustrate the new dimensions of intersubjectivity and interconnectedness of neo-Global humanity. The main focus in this paper is to reconsider Kant's intention based on Enlightenment modernity and its conservative and dysfunctional universalism against current issues.
