Özet
Bu çalışmada, sağlık programlarında okuyan öğrencilere verilen web tabanlı enfeksiyonlardan korunma eğitiminin COVID-19 korku düzeyine etkisinin incelenmesi amaçlandı. Yarı deneysel tasarımda olan bu araştırmanın örneklemini 513 öğrenci oluşturdu. Veri toplama aracı olarak, sosyodemografik özellikleri sorgulayan “Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu” ve COVID-19 enfeksiyonu ve korunma yöntemleri hakkında bilgi düzeylerini değerlendiren form kullanıldı. Eğitim öncesi “Ön Test” uygulandı ve ardından web tabanlı eğitim sistemi üzerinden 40 dakika süren “COVID-19 Enfeksiyonu ve Korunma Yöntemleri” eğitimi gerçekleştirildi. Eğitim sonrasında “Son Test” uygulandı. COVID-19 döneminde öğrencilere verilen web tabanlı COVID-19 enfeksiyonu ve korunma yöntemlerine yönelik eğitim öncesi ve sonrası bilgi düzeyleri ve COVID-19 Korkusu Ölçeği puanları arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark saptandı (p<0,05). Bu araştırmanın sonucunda; hemşirelik, ilk ve acil yardım, anestezi programlarındaki öğrencilere verilen web tabanlı enfeksiyonlardan korunma eğitiminin etkili olduğu, öğrencilerin bu konuda bilgi düzeyini arttırdığı ve COVID-19’a yakalanma korkularının azalmasına katkı sağladığı görüldü.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the effect of web-based infection prevention training given to students on the level of their fear of COVID-19. The sample of this study, which has a quasi-experimental design, consisted of 513 students who agreed to participate in the research. As data collection tools, the "Descriptive Information Form" developed by the researchers in line with the literature and the form evaluating the knowledge levels about the COVID-19 infection and prevention methods were used. “PreTest” was applied before the training, and then the “COVID-19 infection and prevention methods” training, which lasted 40 minutes, was carried out over the web-based training system. After the training, the "Final Test" was applied. It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference in the levels of knowledge of the students before and after the education given during the COVID-19 period regarding the web-based COVID-19 infection and prevention methods, and in the scores of the COVID19 Fear Scale (p<0.05). According to this research, it was seen that the web-based training given to nursing, paramedic, anesthesia technician students about COVID-19 infection and isolation methods was effective, it increased the knowledge level of the students on this subject and contributed to the reduction of their fear of contracting COVID-19.
