Özet
Tez çalışmasının amacı okul yöneticilerinin problem çözme becerileri ve kaygı düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Tezin bağımlı değişkeni okul yöneticilerinin porblem çözme becerileri, bağımsız değişkenleri ise okul yöneticilerinin kaygı düzeyleri ile yaş, kıdem, okul, cinsiyet ve medeni durumlarıdır. Araştırma İstanbul ili Kadıköy ve Maltepe ilçelerinde görevli 111 ilköğretim ve orta öğretim okullarında görevli okul yöneticilerinden toplanan veriler ile yürütülmüştür.Veriler Faktör Analizi, Kolmogorov-Simirnov Testi, parametrik-olmayan testler kapsamında Krushkal-Wallis ve Mann-Whitney-U, Pearson korelasyon analizi, için Cronbach Alfa katsayısı güvenirlik analizi, örneklem yeterliği için Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin ölçütü, nedensellik analizleri için çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi ile SPSS (Statistical Package for Socail Sciences) Versiyon 16.0 paket programı kullanılarak incelemiştir.Araştırmanın sonuçları okul yöneticilerimizin problem çözme becerileri ve kaygı düzeyleri açısıdan okulun eğitim amaç ve hedeflerine yönelik olarak iyi yetiştirilmiş ve değerli eğitim yöneticileri olduğuna işaret etmiştir.
Purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between problem solving abilities and anxiety levels of school managers. The independent variables of the study is the problem solving abilities of school managers where the dependent variables are anxiety levels of school managers and their age, tenure, school, gender and marital status. Survey is carried on 111 school managers in primary and middle schools in Kadıköy and Maltepe districts of Istanbul province.Data is analyzed by utilizing Kolmogorov-Simirnov Test, non-parametric tests like Krushkal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney-U tests, Pearson corelation, reliability anaylses in cronbach’s alfa, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin measure for sampling adequacy and multiple linear regression analyses for causalities by using the computer software Version 16.0 SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences).Findings point out that school managers are well qualified education managers with their problem solving abilities and anxiety levels for eduacational aims and targets of the school.
