Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı beliren yetişkinlik dönemindeki bireylerin bağlanma stillerini, kimlik statülerini ve kişilik özelliklerini incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini 18-30 yaş aralığındaki Mersin Üniversitesi öğrenci ve çalışanları, Mersin Şehir Hastanesi çalışanları ve 4 ayrı özel kurs öğrencileri olmak üzere toplam 750 birey oluşturmaktadır. Katılımcılara demografik bilgi anketi, Yaşam Görüşü Ölçeği,Genişletilmiş Objektif Ego Kimlik Statüleri Ölçeği, İlişki Ölçekleri Anketi, Sıfatlara Dayalı Kişilik Testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada beliren yetişkinlik dönemi ile başarılı kimlik statüsü ve moratoryum kimlik statüsü arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte ipotekli kimlik statüsü ile ters yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Beliren yetişkinlik döneminde bağlanma stillerine bakıldığında, beliren yetişkinlik dönemi ile korkulu bağlanma, saplantılı bağlanma ve kayıtsız bağlanma arasında anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Kişilik özellikleri açısından değerlendirildiğinde beliren yetişkinlik ile dışa dönük kişilik arasında ve deneyime açık kişilik arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study is to investigate the attachment styles, identity status and personality traits of individuals in emerging adulthood.The sample of the study consists of 750 individuals, including Mersin University students and employees, Mersin City Hospital employees and 4 different private course students aged 18-30 years.Participants were given Demographic Information Questionnaire, Extended Objective Ego Identity Status Scale, Relationship Scales Questionnaire, Adjective Based Personality Test. A significant difference was found between emerging adulthood with successful identity status and moratorium identity status.However, a significant negative relationship was found with the identity foreclosure status.When the attachment styles in adulthood were examined, a significant relationship was found between the emerging adulthood and fearful attachment, preoccuppied attachment and dismissive avoidant.When the personality traits were evaluated, a significant difference was found between the emerging adulthood and extroverted personality and the open personality.
