We meta-analyzed the correlation between organizational commitment (OC) and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and tested the effects of four potential moderators of this relationship. Eighty-six primary samples (N?=?27,640) were included in the meta analysis. A moderate positive correlation was found between organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. Moderator analysis showed that there was a significant effect of rating source, organization type and culture dimension of individualism vs. collectivism on the OC-OCB relationship. Moderating effect of publication bias was not significant. Implications of findings for theory and practice were discussed and suggestions for further research were provided.en_US
