Abstract
Bu çalışmada Üniversite öğrencilerinin bağlanma stilleri ile uyum süreçleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya Uşak Üniversitesi’ne devam eden 1033 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmanın 566’sı (%54.79) kız ve 467’si (% 45.21) erkek öğrencidir. Öğrenciler 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıflardan seçkisiz olarak seçilmiştir. Araştırmada Hacettepe Kişilik Envanteri, Yakın İlişkilerde Yaşantılar Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilere göre, güvenli bağlanma stili olan öğrencilerin korkulu, kayıtsız ve saplantılı bağlanan öğrencilerden daha yüksek genel uyumları bulunmaktadır. Bununla birlikte 23 yaş ve üzerindeki öğrencilerin 18-22 yaş arasındaki öğrencilere göre genel uyumları daha yüksek bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, ilişkide karşı cinse çok fazla güvenen öğrencilerin hiç güvenmeyen öğrencilerden daha yüksek genel uyumları olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada, üniversite öğrencilerinin bağlanma stillerinin genel uyumlarını etkilediği görülmektedir. Genel uyumu en yüksek gerçekleştiren kişilerin ise güvenli bağlanma stili olan öğrenciler olduğu görülmüştür.
This study invesitgated the relationship between attachment styles and adjustment process of university students. The sample of the study consisted of 1033 (566 female and 467 male) students of Usak Universty. The students selected randomly from 1., 2., 3. and 4. grades. The Personal Information Form, Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory and Hacettepe Personality Inventory was used in the research. According to findings, students of secure attachment style have higher general adjustment than students of reckless, obsession and fear attachment styles. However, 23 years and upper students have higher general adjustment than 18-22 years students have. Students of too much trust in heterosexual relationships have higher general adjustment than students of mistrusted in heterosexual relationships have. This study obtained the effects of attachment styles on general adjustment of university students. İt is seen that the student with the higest general adjustment is the students of having secure attachment style.
