dc.description.abstractReverse saturation current of diodes is a very small value which cannot be measured with normal measurement devices. In this paper, a simple method to measure the reverse saturation current of diodes is proposed. Then the emission coefficient is calculated with the aid of forward biased region of I-V characteristics. The model extracted with the aid of proposed method shows good agreement with the I-V characteristics of device under test in laboratory experiments.en_US
