Abstract
Günümüzde internete erişim kolaylığı ve teknolojinin gelişmesi ile kullanıcılar arasında bilgi ve etkileşim hızla artmıştır. Günümüzde en çok kullanılan sosyal medya uygulamaları arasında Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, Vimeo, YouTube, Dailymotion, Twitch, Vevo, TikTok (kısa videolar için), Instagram TV (IGTV), Facebook Watch ve diğerleri yer almaktadır. Bu uygulamalar aynı zamanda bilgiye erişim ve bilginin yayılma hızını da artırmaktadır. Kişilerin internet medyasına ilgi göstermesiyle, bu çevrimiçi haber kanallarının etki alanları gün geçtikçe genişlemektedir. Bu nedenle, yalan haberlerin yayılması önemli ölçüde artmıştır. Bu tez çalışması, yalan haberlerin yayılma nedenlerini, bu duruma karşı alınan önlemleri, önerilen metodolojileri, uygulanan yaklaşımları ve yeni yöntemleri ele alınmaktadır.
With the ease of access to the internet and the advancement of technology, the rapid increase in information and interaction among users has occurred. Among the most widely used social media applications today are Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, Vimeo, YouTube, Dailymotion, Twitch, Vevo, TikTok (for short videos), Instagram TV (IGTV), Facebook Watch, and others. These applications also contribute to the increased access to and dissemination of information. As individuals show interest in online media, the influence of these online news channels is expanding day by day. Consequently, the spread of false news has significantly increased. This thesis aims to address the reasons for the spread of false news, the measures taken against this issue, proposed methodologies, approaches, and new methods applied.
