Abstract
A worldwide developmental disorder that several people face is autism, This particu|ar disorder has been characterized as severe and extensive and affects three factors of the patients' evolution: communication, social interaction and imagination. According to (Wing & Gould, 1979). these three factors are the main clinical characteristics of autism, The term autism derived from the Greek word'(e) avtç meaning "myself" and was first used by the Swiss psychiatrist Eugen Bleuler (1911) to characterize some people with schizophrenia who were out of the real world and could not understand the reality.
Dünya genelinde pek çok insanın muzdarip olduğu bir rahatsızlık otizmdir. Bu kendine has rahatsızlık acı ve yoğun olarak karakterize edilir ve hastanın gelişiminde üç temel alanı etkiler: iletişim, sosyal etkileşim ve hayal kurma. Wing ve Gould'a göre (1979) bu üç faktör otizmin temel klinik özellikleridir. Otizm ifadesi Yunanca "kendim" anlamına gelen bir sözden türemiştir ve ilk defa İsviçreli psikiyatrist Eugen Bleuler (1911) tarafından gerçek hayattan kopuk olan ve gerçeği ayırt edemeyen şizofrenik kişileri tanımlamak için kullanılmıştır.
