Abstract

This text attempts to define the term 'Communicative language testing' that has the purpose to indicate, why we need communication testing and what benefits my country has on it. which are relevant in the 21th century. Communicative language testing refers to testing communicative proficiency and using communicative events as test items. which are directly related to language use. ln order to identify teacher education and training system. Testing and Assessment help monitor student 'educational progress and evaluate the quality of school system. The tasks in the test should be authentic. and appropriateness of expression to a social situation are tested as well as knowledge of structure and word meaning. ln order to focus on "use-rather than "usage', the present day tests should include authenticity, performance and interaction as possible. ln lBU Preparatory School as students are beginners. Communication Testing is very effective and help students learn language proficiency, by using four areas: listening, grammar, reading and writing and also cooperaIion that motivates them learn better. Thus. this paper aims at investigating the validity and reliability as well as other test ing dynamics in the tests given at lBU English Preparation School. A survey has been made and results are analyzed in a formative method.
